Hello Members and friends, 

        Lovers of good music,  join us for a perforce by the Barkova  Wind  Ensemble on Sunday at 3 PM, November 17, in Bartow Center Room 31. The Ensemble promises to warm our hearts and raise our spirits.

        Ellen  Bardekoll the founder of the  Ensemble is familiar to us and is not only a wonderful Obeist but has over the years brought fine gifted musicians to enrich our lives with their wonderful Music.

        The Coalition to Save Affordable Housing has been  the proud sponsor of the Ensemble  and is joined in cosponsoring  this event  by The Bronx Council Of The Arts,  The Recording Industry’s Music Performance Trust Fund, and Riverbay Corporation

        We are convening a membership meeting this Monday, November 18, at 7 PM in Dreiser Center 13.

On the agenda will be a wide-open discussion on the implications of the election of Donald Trump for president to our community, city-state, and nation.  For many of us, Trump’s election was unexpected and shocking. I  hope our discussion will begin to review what our role will be under Trump’s administration to protect our gains, resist racism, take steps to save our planet and meet the housing crisis. secure lasting peace around the world  - Gaza and Ukraine, etc.

        Our Riverbay Corporation Board members will present updated reports regarding our coop and include reports from other  M-L cooperators. 

        We will also organize our holiday party in December

        I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Sunday and Monday.
